NEERMAN is a non-profit consulting firm that specializes in evaluation, program design, capacity building, and research, particularly in the fields of health and environment. When used correctly, these services act as tools that enable organizations to use their resources more efficiently, improve the programs they run, enable the effective scaling-up of projects, leverage funding, and practice responsible development.
The name, NEERMAN, or “the Network for Engineering, Economics, Research, and MANanagement,” is indicative of the organization’s collaborations and specialties, yet is also a reference to the traditional Hindi word ‘Nirman’, meaning creation or innovation. A member of RBP group of companies, NEERMAN has established itself as an internationally recognized expert in social and development research. NEERMAN’s critical local perspective, coupled with its international knowledge, staff, resources, and partners, are perhaps its biggest assets in producing rigorous evidence and providing superior value to clients.
At NEERMAN, we use a scientific, evidence-based approach to help corporations, international funding agencies, governments, NGOs, social enterprises, and academic institutions understand which social programs are truly impactful, where to invest resources, and how to implement programs effectively. We see evaluation as an ‘implementation tool’ that not only assesses a program, but also provides methods to improve it. Our work is critical to bridging the gap between field research and advocacy, which is, in turn, helpful in influencing policy and forming public private partnerships.
